Australia First Calls On Mr McCormack To Act And Take This Matter To His Coalition Immigration Minister For Full Investigation

Press Release: September 14 2013
Scott Morrison Must Act On Chinese Trade Centre Immigration Spy And Fraudster

The developing scandal of the Wagga Wagga Chinese Trade Centre involves Humphrey Xu who acts for the Chinese owned company ACA.

Australia First Party notes that the new Immigration Minister Mr. Scott Morrison is familiar with the case of Mr. Xu.

Mr. Morrison has corresponded in 2012 with the Immigration Department regarding the sham marriages that Mr. Xu and his partner Helen Liu contracted to obtain Australian residency.  Immigration officials closed the file last year, claiming there was ''insufficient evidence'' to proceed. This was nonsense given that Liu and Xu were intimately acquainted with Labor Party figures, causing Mr. Morrison to say: ''The investigation of possible migration fraud should not be subject to any sort of political censorship.”

It is a matter of public record key witnesses were never interviewed and that the former Immigration Minister Mr. Bowen, considered the whole case politically “too sensitive”.

Mr. Morrison is now effectively facing off with Liberal and National politicians in Wagga Wagga who are all to a man deeply committed to the Chinese Trade Centre project. The same rules on political censorship also operate.

Lorraine Sharp, candidate for Australia First Party for Riverina in the recent Federal poll said:

“Mr. Morrison should investigate the citizenship applications of Xu and Liu. If it  is found that their applications for residency were based upon sham marriages, each should be deported. I can understand the pain that would cause for the Liberal Party and other Chinese collaborators in the Riverina, but it would be the proper operation of the law. Or is the Liberal Party’s overall commitment to Asian food bowls and Chinese property purchases likely to outweigh its statements made from Opposition?”

Dr. Jim Saleam who was Australia First Party candidate for Cook against Mr. Morrison added:

“Mr. Morrison has marketed himself as the Immigration Minister who would protect Australia’s borders. This should include protecting our borders against espionage networks and political intrigue. This case is politically sensitive and Australia First Party will work to bring pressure to bear upon the Minister to have a full inquiry into Humphrey Xu. For our part, we will demand that this Chinese imperialist agent be expelled from Australia.”
