I request an immediate review of a decision made by your staff (J & C) at Juniperina Juvenile Justice Centre in regard to my daughter A.
On XX.X.XX while visiting my daughter A at Juniperina I provided staff at Juniperina with a book that I requested to be passed on to my daughter A. to read. With A's rehabilitation in mind, part of the care born of a Mother's appreciation of the "psychology"of her own child, I believe this book to be an invaluable part of A's rehabilitation. (Over the past two years the programmes run by Juvenile Justice have been a complete failure in respect of my daughter A, e.g., where are the "Rehabilitation" RESULTS ??)
The referred book was "assessed"(?) by Juniperina staff as "too radical"(?) (albeit staff had not even read the book) and staff at Juniperina refused to pass it on to my daughter.
Must I congratulate government re their "all-round, Multi-Disciplined Staffers" who are also Speed-Reading Experts, Masters in Propaganda Classifications, and Master "Book Reviewers" ??
The book, "Red Cocaine", by Dr Joseph Douglass is a historical account of how Drugs were flooded into the West, and by whom, AND the purposes, during the Cold War period. Dr Douglass was a national security affairs consultant with 25 years experience in defence policy, technology and intelligence. Douglass has worked in the US government where he was deputy director, Tactical Technology Office, Advance Research Projects Agency, with several Washington-area defence contractors. Dr Douglass has served on various defence science board studies and as a consultant/advisor to various government agencies and non-profit industries.
The book does not call anyone to arms nor "radicalise" anyone.
The arbitrary "judgement" by the Juniperina resident Little-Hitler Cretin, that this book is "too radical", is quite a reflection upon government standards in their selection of staff for such institutions.
Knowing my own daughter's intellect, i.e., A, I believe this book will provoke serious thought, and be a step towards a greater understanding of the multifaceted drug trade and her unfortunate place, as a drug user, in the drug "industry". It may well assist in discouraging A from continuing within the Hell of the world of drugs. A has a certain "psychology", such that I believe this book will impact on her in a positive way.
I have spoken with her regarding the programmes run at Juniperina - Profile and "harm minimisation", counselling etc and she has stated "it's all rubbish", and that it had no effect on or benefit to her at all; in fact quite the opposite. A being a girl with intelligence has made the observation that many others have made, "harm minimisation" (using drugs safely) is failed policy. You cannot minimise the harm of drugs such as Ice; that is simply the reality. I will also note two of A's older sisters (who have not been subject to the damaging influences of these policies) are not drug users, nor have they ever been involved in crimes such as has A. In fact those girls are well adjusted, productive members of society, being socially responsibile and community minded.
It is well accepted principle that, to continue to do the same thing over and over again and to expect a different result, is the definition of insanity. That is what is being done within your "system". The "outcomes", being negative, then either the "system" and its perpetrators are insane, OR the NEGATIVE "Outcomes" ARE INTENDED. Can there be any other answer, Minister ??
About 18 months ago I enquired at XXXXX Juvenile Justice Office about the programmes run by Juvenile Justice and was less than satisfied with the answers given by the Manager Mr M. W. I asked Mr W about the "Profile' programme and he stated "it's just the programme we run". He had no statistics regarding sucess or failure, and had little understanding of what it even was.
I wrote a letter to the then Attorney General Greg Smith regarding "drug programmes" run at Juvenille Justice, and the reply I received from his underling quoted the wrong programmes. They had no clue as to what was going on at ground level in the centres.
I have since corresponded with your office and received much the same response. This is unacceptable.
I was referred to the Juvenile Justice website, which is flawed, and claims of "working closely with Parents", is certainly not my experience. My experience is that Parents are being excluded, and that Child Justice presumes to have all authority and decision-making powers regarding my child, the "outcomes" of which "nurture"(?) the on-going destruction of my child. These realities are a deliberate contravention to the obligations Australia has to the UNROC Convention to which Australia is a signatory. The practical evidence points to the sinister prospect that indeed, the Juvenile Justice system is consistently "setting our youth up to fail". The alternative "prospect", i.e., that the people who are "running the show" from their Ivory Towers are a collective of imbeciles out of touch with reality, is cynically laughable. They may appear to be imbeciles, but that is only a professional "front" since imbeciles are not reliably "issue-consistent". Rather than the policies that are developed from deep within the bowels of academia and protected by the political apparatus hitherto, it is time for government to either solve these problems or get out tof the way and to restore to the decent Parents, their natural rights and authority over their own children and let them solve this problem which has been spawned from the demonic cloisters of "New-Ageism" and Political-Correctness.
I had previously forwarded to your office some sound advice and suggestions on how to address some of the problems facing youth and society, only to have these suggestions demeaned and dismissed out of hand.
Many are the conversations I have had with people working within the Juvenile Justice system and the Police force on the subject issues; they have resigned themselves to the fact that, as matters stand, Juvenile Justice and it's current policies are a complete failure. Regular comment from these people when discussing Juvenile Justice is, "you're speaking to the converted - I agree"! When government doggedly persists in the perpetuation of a disaster which they perpetrated in the first place, it is obviously MEANT to be a disaster !!
Many other people within "the system" who do not comment, or who fail to see, are self-interested types who seek only to protect their bloated salary, lurks and perks and guaranteed superannuation - True gatekeepers of the Matrix !
So much for free speech, so much for religious or cultural rights, so much for any rights for Parents. So much for Juveniule "Justice"(?) working with Parents !
To conclude, I insist that the book I have provided for my daughter A. to read, be immediately passed on to her as an important part of her rehabilitation.
Of course, if "The State" does not desire the Rehabilitation of A. and many others in her predicament, then that raises serious questions about deliberate, planned, State-orchestrated genocide of one or more generations of our youth. I will be happy to engage on that matter, should it be necessary.
The Nuremberg priciples apply. It is no defence to say "I was only following orders", when One knows those orders (policies and proceedures) are wrong. A duty of care applies regarding employees of Juvenile Justice and government to Detainees of Juniperina. Hiding behind State powers provides no immunity.
