Barangaroo the racist eviction of Millers Point Australians for wealthy Chinese

Wealthy chinese are so enraptured by the beauty and open space of Sydney Harbour that they are buying up harbourside property like no-one else.  Nearly a half of harbourside Mosman house sales over $3 million have gone to the chinese.  Steadily the chinese are moving in along Sydney Harbour.  Hong Kong Harbour here we come!
Not only are chinese encouraged to snap up the best Australia property particularly in urban Australia, Australian real estate agents like Andrew Taylor of online real estate website Juwai.com in Shanghai, heavily promotes Australian property directly to Chinese investors and to wannabe migrants.
Taylor says chinese demand for urban residential particularly in Sydney is soaring, up 370 per cent from 2012 to 2013, lured by Australian Labor and Liberal government policies encouraging foreign investment, selling Australia’s education and health systems and Australia’s waterfront lifestyle to wealthy foreigners like the chinese.
According to Australia’s Foreign Investment Review Board, chinese bought up more than $5 billion in Australia property in 2013.
Chinese-owned global property developer Greenland Holdings, plans to increase its investment in Australian residential property by 50 per cent a year and is bidding for the second stage of the $6 billion Barangaroo urban regeneration project on Sydney Harbour.
He said Greenland was looking for commercial and residential business opportunities in all capital cities, but that Sydney and Melbourne would be the initial focus to tap into and encourage larger chinese populations in those cities.

And it is this driving foreign demand for residential that is driving up Sydney property prices beyond the reach of Sydney families.  Local first home buyers have been price-forced out of the Sydney residential market by wealthy foreigners.   Sydneysider families have been split up as offspring are forced to leave Sydney and Melbourne for distant affordable housing out in the regions, only to cop daily 4-hour motorway commutes.
The betrayal gets worse.  In New South Wales under Labor and perpetuated under the Libs, foreign buyers of newly constructed homes in New South Wales have been receiving the first home owners grant of $5,000.
Foreigners are getting a financial leg up by our own elected politicians!
Under the Liberal Party’s New Home Owner Scheme introduced in the 2012 state budget, buyers can own multiple homes in their country of origin and still apply for the grant for the purchase of Australian properties.   They don’t have to live in it. All they have to do is apply through the foreign investment review board to buy.
As we all know, Australia’s Foreign Investment Review Board, is pro-foreigner and rarely questions.
New Premier Mike Baird has confessed, that if an overseas buyer were to buy 20 off-the-plan apartments, they could apply for 20 $5000 grants, well aware that this policy is shutting out Australian first-time buyers.
Local real estate sharks are not shy at cashing in, like Ray White Real Estate, LJ Hooker, and McGrath’s, each of which has set up Chinese offices and specific trade shows to flog off Aussie homes to the chinese in China.
And it is not just the chinese investors.  Most immigrants to Australia are now chinese,  thanks mainly to Rudd/Gillard immigration inducement to chinese as part of their “Asian Century”.  In 2013, over 27,000 chinese immigrated to Australia, equating to adding a town a year the population of Gladstone, Bega, Warrnambool, Devonport or Geraldton.  But they all settle in inner Sydney and inner Melbourne.
For casino billionaire, James Packer, he’s tapping into the uber-rich chinese ‘whale-size’ appetite for gambling in Macau and Melbourne.  With his Barangaroo resort casino under construction, Packer is set to dominate the chinese casino market in Sydney.  Some say, good luck to him, but behind the scenes what political deals are costing ordinary Australians?
The New South Wales O’Farrell Liberal Government has been happy to comply with whatever Packer wants, as it eyes on promised gambling tax revenue of $114 million a year.   No tender required when it comes to Liberal deals.   Since when has public tender process or consultation been forthright when multinationals lobby Liberal governments?

Think of all the 1300 jobs at Barangaroo Casino!  But all Mandarin speaking on 457 visas.  The incoming chinese army of workers will need somewhere to live close by in Sydney too!
That’s where Barangaroo’s adjoining heritage suburb, Millers Point, comes in.   Nineteenth century colonial heritage Millers Point comprises hundreds of small working class cottages and terraces nestled up on a high point overlooking Sydney Harbour, dating to Sydney’s early settlement days.
The houses, the street and the whole precinct of Millers Point is heritage listed, including its resident public housing community.  Millers Point and its inseparable community are legally protected by Australia’s National Trust under the NSW Heritage Act precisely because it was ‘the first real public housing in Australia’.  Its long-term residents are in the main, public housing tenants with little or no income and they hold protected 99-year leases.
Many resident have ancestral connections to the place when Sydney Harbour was a working harbour and many worked in harbourside industry.   Their landlord used to be the Maritime Services Board, which let the old dwellings to folk working in the harbourside industries after the 1901 plague.  Then since the 1980s, the Housing Commission took over as the government landlord of Millers Point.
Steadily, Sydney’s traditional working harbour has been gentrified by Labor and Liberal state governments and by local councils encouraging revenue raising highrise residential development.  Millers Point residents have been denied a local supermarket, public education, a public hospital, and most of the usual affordable services of Sydney suburbs.
Millers Point has effectively been under siege by property developers since the Labor Government closed down East Darling Harbour Wharf to the maritime industry.
Problem is that Merriman Street in Millers Point overlooks the massive 22 hectare Barangaroo casino site below from the old clifftop under “The Pill”.  And this Packer’s marketing problem for his multi-billion dollar vision for his Barangaroo casino resort.   The vision of poor public housing tenants looking down on his uber-wealthy chinese gamblers will not be a good look.   The O’Farrell Liberals have been lobbied to convert Millers Point into a white-collar enclave conducive to high roller chinese Barangaroo.  The Domain is also for suitable “remodelling”.
O’Farrell’s Finance Minister, Greg Pearce, since sacked for corruption, revealed his Liberal prejudice toward Millers Point’s tenants: “the government needs to consider it in the context of all of the surrounding areas, including the Barangaroo redevelopment area.”  Public housing tenants give off a bad odour. The poor are always with us, but preferably far removed.
Then last August 2013, Liberal Community Services Minister Pru Goward, announced she would be cancelling all the 99 year leases of Millers Point public housing tenants, with a two year forced eviction to make way for wealthy chinese.  Goward did not consult the heritage office, the tenants, the National Trust; but which lobbyists?
Millers Point residents don’t want to leave their home and community of decades and so they are protesting their rights against being evicted.

Pru Goward’s discriminatory decree is reminiscent of what the Robert Askin Liberal Government tried to do to The Rocks during the 1970s – highrise it.   In March 2014, Goward announced that all buildings would be sold off and as many as 400 tenants forcibly evicted over the next two years, including the descendants of the original Millers Point maritime workers.

Goward says the poor can be dispersed elsewhere, far away and out of sight.  According to Pru Goward they are “not good enough” to be overlooking billionaire chinese tourists-come-investors.
In 2011, the previous Keneally Labor Government had similar designs in Millers Point.  It had forcibly evicted 130 public housing tenants in the Sydney harbourside suburb of Glebe, demolishing their fifteen apartments in Cowper Street.  The government blackmail was that the tenants would only be rehoused once Labor had evicted all Millers Point public housing tenants and banked the proceeds of sales of the Millers Point terraces (probably received from the wealthy chinese).
Under the Liberals, Goward’s media propaganda is slick.  She accuses the tenants of hogging dwellings better fit for large families.  Goward accuses Millers Pointers of putting their occupation of what she calls “million dollar heritage homes in Millers Point” ahead of apparently 57,000 families on the public housing waiting list.   Millers Point dwellings are old and tiny, have no backyards or front yard and unfit for big families.
Goward’s quoted 57,000 families have been inherited by dud working class Labor in NSW ingnored over the previous 16 years under state premiers Carr,  Iemma, Rees, and Keneally.
But for Goward and the Liberal lobbying predatory real estate agents, the tenants exist at best; they don’t inhabit. Compared with cash up chinese, poor traditional Australians are ‘terra nullius’.
Goward considers all public housing tenants to be transitory and moveable. “We are determined to move public housing away from being an entitlement, a final destination for most tenants, to a transition point to a better life for those with the genuine capacity to move on.” Ms Goward said.  There is no place for the poor to live in the city, just the rich and Sydney has become an international city.’
“We’ll start by having a conversation. We’ll see how much resistance we get.”

One would presume that decent chinese eyeing off Millers Point homes would somehow be sensitive to the spectre of forced evictions out of the horrific legacy at the hand of local governments and property developers in China.  Chinese evictees have been beaten, imprisoned, and killed at the hands of authorities.

On November 22 2013, a story was run in Sydney’s Daily Telegraph. Some readers would have been excused for believing that it was just another story of a squalid sexual tryst imposed on a female constituent by a male politician; or, as some said, an unfair exercise of power by a male in authority who managed a consensual affair, but one which was surely morally and ethically questionable, yet unremarkable.
The story was meant for television too, but lawyers for Nathan Rees, the politician at issue, ensured it was canned.
The base facts were set out in a lot of journalism last November and we might suggest that our readers take the time later to brush over these details.

However, we are obliged to say that the matter is far more serious than the mass journalism implied.
Certainly, Nathan Rees showed a remarkable appetite for the exercise of carnal power. He abused his trust and his office and betrayed his wife and his friends. So only recently, when he gave notice that he would leave the New South Wales Parliament at the next election, he cited his fight against corruption as giving him the brownie points to be remembered as a good bloke.
He had the praise of New South Wales Labor powerbroker, Carmel Tebbut, who offered kind words.
So, he goes to a happier life and all is well in Camp Labor.
What is clear to many constituents, friends of his victim and even rank and file Labor folk – is that all is not well in Camp Labor and the matter goes well beyond abuse of office.
A gang of mates
Consider that his female victim went up to a Labor politician in the street and asked for advice - Michelle Rowland - who said: “you’re not going to talk about this, are you?” And then bid her good day.
Rowland, who represents the Federal electorate of Greenway in western Sydney, works closely with Nathan Rees. She styles herself as some of Labor lawyer good-girl activist who stands up for women’s interests. But when faced with a challenge to the integrity of one of her male Labor colleagues, she sided with the party straight away. Did she know where her interest lay?
In the system parties, everything is about the image presented. Sometimes they abandon a colleague – like the corrupt Eddie Obeid – but generally they close ranks first and just lie and play verbal games with the people and the truth. Has Tebbutt just done that? As the better-half of the marriage with Anthony Albanese, she represents the Sydney inner-city Labor push who are the nouveau-riche (the new wealthy ones), those who have lied and schemed their way to a place in the Labor food-chain. Rats. Does Tebbutt know about Rees’s predatory conduct? Of course. It’s more politique to just shut up in public, even if she pushed him out in private.
Are some politicians mentally ill?
In an obsessional relationship, it follows that once the affected person loses all sense of balance, he subsequently drags the victim into a nightmare world.
So, Nathan dragged his victim into a web of secret meetings and sexual activity, falsehood, scheming and petty deceits and false confidences. He had examined a file on the victim, noting that she had (managed) psychological issues of her own and preyed upon her like Dracula.
Access has been granted to the phones owned by the female victim. There are 1,767 messages on one phone, 680 on a second and 148 on a third. They indicate upon analysis a man out of control, using his valuable time to negotiate an illicit relationship. It is fairly certain that while he sat in parliament, deciding the public business, he was ‘sexting’ his victim. When he should have been serving the people, he was ‘wasting’ his public time.
Other women were also reportedly targets of Mr. Rees. How had these been targeted? Some names have been provided to us, including a parliamentary worker and a borderline-personality-disorder-affected woman in public housing. It all serves to anger the ordinary person against the political caste – and rightly so!
How did it come to this? Nathan Rees was a staffer to jailed paedophile and Labor politician, Milton Orkopoulos. This predator had his predations covered over for years until another staffer blew the whistle. Are politicians ever really vetted? How can they be? Who monitors them when they serve in an oligarchy which seeks to manipulate the public? When secrets are kept? Can sick conduct be ‘learned’ and ‘assimilated’ by others – we mean in the terms of mental disorder?
In our view, Rees either belongs in prison or should be the subject of a class action civil suit.
What can ever be done?
Allowing politicians to simply ‘quit’ parliaments solves nothing. Nor do few ever attempt to make amends for sins committed. Nor usually are agencies proactive in seeking to make enquiries.
Under the regime of liberal and globalist politics, we can only expect many of our supposed leaders to be greatly flawed people. The system itself is a sickness of greed and exploitation and grand plans at growth and alleged progress which ride rough shod over the common Australian. The system attracts every would-be to try his hand. The political caste finds the perks of office usually after they leave the parliaments and are duly rewarded.
Some it seems profit from exploiting the vulnerable whilst they are in office. It is hoped that the likes of Mr. Rees can all be exposed before they reap too many ‘rewards’. Hope springs eternal, but the truth ….. ?

Bring On The NSW State Election

Australia First Party are bemused by the Daily Advertiser's attitude. On Saturday 19.4.14 a Journalist from the Daily Advertiser  Wagga Wagga spent 30 minutes taping an interview with Dr Jim Saleam, yet the resulting article was in the usual style we have come to expect, no surprise there. However it is curious that from 30 minutes of recorded interview, all the Daily Advertiser managed to print was a few sentences, the rest was the usual recycled old news copied and pasted again. The usual try hard attempt at smear and fear, something seemingly reserved for Australia First exclusively ?

To fill in the "gaps" from the interview:

Australia First are opposed to the privatisation of the health system, we cannot have a situation where we end up with a two tier, or two levels of health care.

Australia First see the urgent need for a youth drug rehabilitation unit in the Wagga area, perhaps the land slated for the Chinese trade Centre could be donated to the cause ? While were on the subject of the trade centre, whatever happened to the Wagga ratepayers $50,000 used to draw up contracts for the sale of the land for the would-be trade centre? After all the Chinese trade centre was touted as Daryl Maquire's "baby", why should ratepayers foot the bill for Mr Maquire's pet projects ? And further insult not be reimbursed ? There seems to be a theme around town of Liberal ventures paid for by donations from the Wagga community.

Australia First question who the "investors" at the Mt Adra gold mine in Adelong will be ? If it is Chinese investment, they will bring their own labour and all our youth will get is drugs and centerlink.

We question the Snowy Works (and perks) situation,  which oversees "ongoing works" and gives money to the Tumut Council supposedly for the Gocup Rd, yet the Gocup Rd is never fixed, only patched, this has become a real cash cow for the local oligarchy. We would like to see the money out of the hands of the dubious Tumut council and in the hands of the RMS.

To clarify the label of "convicted felon", Dr Saleam  wears that title with pride, as he has always protested his innocence and maintained the disbanded Special Branch set him up as a political, prisoner.

Whilst on the subject of "felonious behaviour", we re-publish some facts about the establishment parties below:

A secret Liberal Party slush fund being investigated for corruption received $183,342 from Australian Water Holdings, while Arthur Sinodinos was AWH's Chairman or deputy chairman.

"I do not recollect donations to political parties being discussed at the board level" he said. ICAC documents show that between April 2009 and May 2011, AWH paid $183,342 to the Liberal party- related slush fund known as EightByFive, operated by Tim Koelma, a staffer for former NSW state Energy Minister Chris Hartcher.
The payments were booked as public relations services from Mr Koelma.
Mr Hartcher quit the NSW ministry after his central coast offices were raided by ICAC in December last year.
The EightBy Five payments were in addition to the $76,000 AWH donated directly to the NSW Liberal Party.
ICAC has heard that AWH disguised political donations as "administration costs" which it charged back to the state government's Sydney Water.
The Liberal Party has announced it will repay the $76,000 to Sydney Water, but has made no comment about EightByFive funds. Interestingly at the time EightByFive was a deregistered company with a cancelled ABN number.

It appears the Liberal Party had more to gain than O'beid from Sydney Water ? Of course Daryl Maquire would insult us and tell us the Liberal Party are "victims" in this whole affair and have been wrongly tainted by the "cancer" of O'Beid. Barry O'Farrell has also been described as an honourable man of integrity, he just has a bad memory regarding gifts? Barry O'Farrell's son a property developer is currently in China selling NSW real estate, although not a crime, it shows what sort of a man he is. Perhaps he has forgotten about that too ?

A Special Surveillance Chip

According to leaked internal documents from the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) that Die Zeit obtained, IT experts figured out that Windows 8, the touch-screen enabled, super-duper, but sales-challenged Microsoft operating system is outright dangerous for data security. It allows Microsoft to control the computer remotely through a built-in backdoor. Keys to that backdoor are likely accessible to the NSA – and in an unintended ironic twist, perhaps even to the Chinese.

The backdoor is called “Trusted Computing,” developed and promoted by the Trusted Computing Group, founded a decade ago by the all-American tech companies AMD, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, and Wave Systems. Its core element is a chip, the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), and an operating system designed for it, such as Windows 8. Trusted Computing Group has developed the specifications of how the chip and operating systems work together.

Its purpose is Digital Rights Management and computer security. The system decides what software had been legally obtained and would be allowed to run on the computer, and what software, such as illegal copies or viruses and Trojans, should be disabled. The whole process would be governed by Windows, and through remote access, by Microsoft.

Now there is a new set of specifications out, creatively dubbed TPM 2.0. While TPM allowed users to opt in and out, TPM 2.0 is activated by default when the computer boots up. The user cannot turn it off. Microsoft decides what software can run on the computer, and the user cannot influence it in any way. Windows governs TPM 2.0. And what Microsoft does remotely is not visible to the user. In short, users of Windows 8 with TPM 2.0 surrender control over their machines the moment they turn it on for the first time.

It would be easy for Microsoft or chip manufacturers to pass the backdoor keys to the NSA and allow it to control those computers. NO, Microsoft would never do that, we protest. Alas, Microsoft, as we have learned from the constant flow of revelations, informs the US government of security holes in its products well before it issues fixes so that government agencies take advantage of the holes and get what they’re looking for.

Experts at the BSI, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Federal Administration warned unequivocally against using computers with Windows 8 and TPM 2.0. One of the documents from early 2012 lamented, “Due to the loss of full sovereignty over the information technology, the security objectives of ‘confidentiality’ and ‘integrity’ can no longer be guaranteed.”

Elsewhere, the document warns, “This can have significant consequences on the IT security of the Federal Administration.” And it concludes, “The use of ‘Trusted Computing’ technology in this form … is unacceptable for the Federal Administration and for operators of critical infrastructure.”

Another document claims that Windows 8 with TPM 2.0 is “already” no longer usable. But Windows 7 can “be operated safely until 2020.” After that other solutions would have to be found for the IT systems of the Administration.

The documents also show that the German government tried to influence the formation of the TPM 2.0 specifications – a common practice in processes that take years and have many stakeholders – but was rebuffed. Others have gotten what they wanted, Die Zeit wrote. The NSA for example. At one of the last meetings between the TCG and various stakeholders, someone dropped the line, “The NSA agrees.”

Rüdiger Weis, a professor at the Beuth University of Technology in Berlin, and a cryptographic expert who has dealt with Trusted Computing for years, told Die Zeit in an interview that Microsoft wanted to completely change computing by integrating “a special surveillance chip” in every electronic device. Through that chip and the processes of Windows 8, particularly Secure Boot, “users largely lose control over their own hardware and software.”

But wouldn’t it contribute to higher levels of security? Certain aspects actually raise the risks, he said. For example, during production, the secret key to that backdoor is generated outside the chip and then transferred to the chip. During this process, copies of all keys can be made. “It’s possible that there are even legal requirements to that effect that cannot be reported.” And so the TPM is “a dream chip of the NSA.”

Apple phased out the surveillance chips in 2009. Linux doesn’t comply with the standards, and Linux machines cannot use the technology. Microsoft defended itself the best it could. The TPM is activated by default because most users accept defaults, it said. If users would have to activate the functions themselves, many users would end up operating a less secure system. And of course, government regulations that would require that users have the option to opt in or out would be unwise.

Instead, hardware manufactures could build machines with the chips deactivated, Microsoft said. If you want to have control over your computer, that’s what you’d have to buy. Another option would be to switch to Linux machines, something that the city government of Munich has started 10 years ago; the changeover should be complete before the year is up. This end of the NSA debacle cannot possibly be twisted into bullish news for Microsoft.

China is the promised land for our revenue-challenged tech heroes: over a billion consumers, economic growth several times that of the US, and companies splurging on IT. Layer the “cloud” on top, and China is corporate nirvana: a high-growth sector in a high-growth country. Or was nirvana, now that the NSA’s hyperactive spying practices have spilled out.

The Bureau of Land Management, whose director was Sen. Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) former senior adviser, has purged documents from its web site stating that the agency wants Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s cattle off of the land his family has worked for over 140 years in order to make way for solar panel power stations.

Deleted from BLM.gov but reposted for posterity by the Free Republic, the BLM document entitled “Cattle Trespass Impacts” directly states that Bundy’s cattle “impacts” solar development, more specifically the construction of “utility-scale solar power generation facilities” on “public lands.”
“Non-Governmental Organizations have expressed concern that the regional mitigation strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone utilizes Gold Butte as the location for offsite mitigation for impacts from solar development, and that those restoration activities are not durable with the presence of trespass cattle,” the document states.

The first segment of the document pulled by the feds from BLM.gov.

Another BLM report entitled “Regional Mitigation Strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone” (BLM Technical Note 444) reveals that Bundy’s land in question is within the “Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone and surrounding area” which is part of a broad U.S. Department of Energy program for “Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States” on land “managed” by BLM.

The second segment of the document pulled by the feds from BLM.gov.

“In 2012, the BLM and the U.S. Department of Energy published the Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States,” the report reads. “The Final Solar Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement assessed the impact of utility-scale solar energy development on public lands in the six southwestern states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.”

“The Approved Resource Management Plan Amendments/Record of Decision (ROD) for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States implemented a comprehensive solar energy program for public lands in those states and incorporated land use allocations and programmatic and SEZ-specific design features into land use plans in the six-state study area.”
Back in 2012, the New American reported that Harry Reid’s son, Rory Reid, was the chief representative for a Chinese energy firm planning to build a $5-billion solar plant on public land in Laughlin, Nevada.
And journalist Marcus Stern with Reuters also reported that Sen. Reid was heavily involved in the deal as well.
“[Reid] and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert,” he wrote. “Reid has been one of the project’s most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada.”
“His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.”
Although these reports are in plain view, the mainstream media has so far ignored this link.
The BLM’s official reason for encircling the Bundy family with sniper teams and helicopters was to protect the endangered desert tortoise, which the agency has previously been killing in mass due to “budget constraints.”
“A tortoise isn’t the reason why BLM is harassing a 67 year-old rancher; they want his land,” journalist Dana Loesch wrote. “The tortoise wasn’t of concern when [U.S. Senator] Harry Reid worked with BLM to literally change the boundaries of the tortoise’s habitat to accommodate the development of his top donor, Harvey Whittemore.”
“Reid is accused of using the new BLM chief as a puppet to control Nevada land (already over 84% of which is owned by the federal government) and pay back special interests,” she added. “BLM has proven that they’ve a situational concern for the desert tortoise as they’ve had no problem waiving their rules concerning wind or solar power development. Clearly these developments have vastly affected a tortoise habitat more than a century-old, quasi-homesteading grazing area.”
“If only Cliven Bundy were a big Reid donor.”

Update #2: ENN Energy Group describes itself as a “privately-owned clean energy distributor in China.” However, as the People’s Republic of China is a single-party state governed by the Communist Party, all large companies in China, one way or the other, are either controlled or are heavily influenced by the Chinese government.

The commitment of Liberal Party propaganda is absolute!  A lot of people who consider themselves "conservatives", vote Liberal and therefore vote for this (anything but conservative) catastrophe.
Of course the usual suspects around town take centre stage again in the promotion of the so called "multiculti wonderland", Daryl Maquire, Bishop Hanna and Mr Newah-Jarfoi.

There is no intergration, there is no multiculture, there is no harmony, but there is endless money involved in the "multiculti' industry.

It's shocking to any thinking person to contemplate this multiculti disaster, particularly in regard to the Churches who welcome in the hordes of African "refugees' and nominate them for awards, yet still have not compensated victims of pedophilia !

Mr Newah-Jarfoi states "the people of Wagga have opened their homes and hearts to refugees", we wish local homeless and disenfranchised Wagga folk could say the same ! All part of the imagined harmony ?

As for O'Farrell, he is up to his neck in China, his Son is a property developer, currently in China selling property in NSW to the Chinese. It appears O'Farrell and Maquire have much in common.

Palmer on Guns;

Not that we've got too many members in W.A, but here's something every gun owner voting in W.A on the weekend should keep in mind - Clive Palmer's apparent "interest" in guns.

Have a read of what appeared on Nine MSN today:

Clive Palmer has stomped on persistent speculation his political party could merge with Bob Katter's.

Palmer United Party's Queensland leader Alex Douglas last month said the potential tie-up with Katter's Australian Party (KAP) would "most likely" occur under the Palmer brand, a comment the wealthy MP swiftly smacked down, saying "news to me" in a text to Fairfax Media.

At the same time, KAP MP Robbie Katter told the ABC that any merger between the parties would be "nothing to be sneezed at".

But Palmer told APP this week, while on the hustings in Perth ahead of the reprised West Australian Senate election, that the parties had little in common. "The true story about that was Bob's vote was right down, and he's always trying to get notoriety in the press so he always leaks this every three months," he said. "The Katter Party is an extreme right party and our party is a more centre party." "And we disagree on certain things, such as guns... a whole lot of things Bob's in favour of."

Mr Palmer said the leaders might like each other personally, but a political party had to share the same beliefs. "There's more chance of us merging with the Labor or Liberal parties than with Bob."

KAP was being sought for comment.

.... yet the Palmer United Party does not have a published view on guns. So, if big Clive was to get the balance of power federally and guns became an issue again, would many of our constituents be facing the same fights they had barely 20 years ago? We're not sure- but the fact this was raised certainly did get out attention.
